On February 5, 2025, Strong expressed pride in collaborating with his colleagues at HomelandGOP to tackle the U.S. cyber workforce shortage. He highlighted North Alabama and the University of Alabama in Huntsville as leaders in cybersecurity education, mentioning his bill, the CyberCorps Enhancement Act, which aims to strengthen the pipeline for producing highly skilled U.S.-trained professionals. Later that day, Strong expressed gratitude towards Major General Evans of the 25th Infantry Division for visiting his office. He appreciated discussing the division's training in the Indopacific region and emphasized how agile funding and rapid acquisition authorities benefit warfighters. On February 6, 2025, Strong addressed gender equality in sports by celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day alongside President Trump. He voiced support for protecting women's sports from male participation based on common sense principles shared by many Americans.
