Dale W. Strong, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama's 5th district, recently shared significant legislative updates and personal achievements through a series of tweets. Serving since 2023 after replacing Mo Brooks, Strong has been active in addressing military and national security issues.

On December 10, 2024, Strong highlighted key outcomes from the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), stating: "Critical wins in this NDAA: A 14.5% pay raise for junior enlisted servicemembers Makes it easier for military spouses to find and maintain employment Bans DoD from providing minors with puberty blockers Prohibits the teaching or promotion of CRT in the military".

Later that day, Strong announced progress on his legislative efforts against foreign influence: "It’s official: my bill, the SHIELD Against CCP Act, has passed the House and is on the way to the Senate. As a member of @HomelandGOP, I know that this bill is a great step in making America safer, stronger, and more secure."

Expressing gratitude towards his colleagues' support on December 10th as well, he emphasized bipartisan cooperation: "Thankful for the support from my colleagues! Countering China isn’t a partisan issue, it’s an American one."
