Following a 2-2 showing at the National Invitational Softball Championship, the University of North Alabama softball team placed two members on the event's all-tournament team. Emma Broadfoot and Harley Stokes were each awarded the honor following the Lions' loss to UNLV in the quarterfinal round.
Broadfoot batted .583 at the NISC after going 7-for-12 at the plate with a double and two home runs. She also drove in six runs and scored seven times.
Stokes homered four times to take over the team lead and tie UNA's all-time single-season mark with 19. She was the only UNA player to get a hit in every game, going 8-for-16 for an even .500 showing. She drove in five runs and had a 1.250 slugging percentage.
