The City of Haleyville issued the following announcement on March 22.
Three new police officers were sworn in by City Judge Jonathan Lowe at the Haleyville City Council meeting Monday, March 21. Shown with theCouncil and Judge Lowe are Tim Harris, Tarius Walker, and Daniel Revilla.
In other business, the Council approved the general operation bills and purchase orders for February for $496,644.45. Also approved was the resurfacing and stripping of the City Hall parking lot and engine-ring for an airport project..
Caroline Thompson and Mayor Pro-Tem Drew Thrasher were added to the Municipal Court Fund.
The next scheduled Council meeting will be Monday, April 4, 5:30 at the Haleyville City Hall.
