Decatur High School issued the following announcement on March 11.
On Thursday night, the awards ceremony for the YAM (Youth Art Month) installation at the ACA was held. Decatur High had 4 award recipients!
- Camryn Birgans won 1st place overall in the high school category with her photographic portrait, "Perfectly Imperfect." (see photo)
- Marianne Cazier won Honor of Merit in Photography with her self-portrait "Covid Selfie."
- Tamia Moradi won Honorable Mention with her digital painting "Artimus Hunting."
- Ansley Jordan won Honorable Mention with her ceramics sculpture "His Word is My Shelter."
