WINSTON COUNTY SCHOOLS: Virtual Student Device Pickup

Winston County Schools issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.

All Winston County Schools' full time virtual students are invited and encouraged to attend an information session to prepare for the upcoming school year. 

Dates and times are listed below.

All Winston County Schools' Full-Time Virtual students are invited and encouraged to attend the following information sessions to prepare for the upcoming school year.  Students who choose to utilize a Winston County Schools' device will be assigned learning devices at this meeting in addition to completing the required paperwork.

There will be two options for use of District Devices:

Pay $30 insurance fee with restrictions

Pay $0 with agreement to pay full-price if device is not returned as issued

*Fees must be paid prior to issuance of District device. Student may use personal device to complete virtual learning if desired.

Monday August 17, 2020           Double Springs Middle School (5:30 pm)

Lynn Schools Grades K-5 {7:30 pm) Winston County High School (6:00 pm)

Tuesday August 18, 2020           Addison Elementary (5:00 pm)

Addison High School(6:00 pm) Double Springs Elementary (7:00 pm) Lynn Schools Grades 6-12 (7:30 pm) Meek Elementary (5:00 pm)

Meek High School (6:00 pm)

The Winston County School System will be using components of the Schoology Learning Management System for all students both traditiona land virtual for the 2020-2021 school year.Therefore, students who choose the virtual learning path will complete similar lessons as traditional students. Anytime a virtual student has a question or concern they may emailtheir assigned teacher(s), Mrs. Moon (Virtual SchoolAdministrator), or Technical Support to resolve any issues that may arise.
