Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 22.
ProsperityPAC – the political action committee of the Decatur- Morgan County Chamber of Commerce – is “dedicated to the support of candidates who have taken responsible positions on issues involving private enterprise and on significant economic, public affairs, and social issues affecting Decatur and Morgan County.”
At this time, ProsperityPAC has yet to endorse or financially support any candidates in the Aug. 25 municipal election. ProsperityPAC is not obligated to support candidates in any races.
ProsperityPAC will keep Chamber members informed as the election season unfolds.
