The Haleyville City Council met on Monday, June 6, 2022.  Resolutions up for approval were the 2021 Airport Improvement Project (Resolution #2022-21), Walking Track Repairs at the Haleyville Sports Complex (Resolution #2022-22), Culvert Replacement on 14th Avenue and in the Brookhaven Subdivision (Resolution #2022-23), paving the area behind the stage at The Heart of Haleyville Park (Resolution #2022-24), and acceptance of a bid for Winston County Road 90 Improvements (Resolution #2022-25). The full resolutions are below:

Resolution #2022-21

WHEREAS, the City of Haleyville is currently working on 2021 Airport Improvement Project, Haleyville Airport – Posey Field, Wildlife Fencing (Phase III), AIP Project No. 3-01-0039-014-2021, AND

WHEREAS, the Engineer for the Resurfacing, 2021 Airport Improvement Project, Haleyville Airport – Posey Field, Wildlife Fencing (Phase III), AIP Project No. 3-01-0039-014-2021, Columbus Fence Company, LLC., has requested deductive Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $4,662.85 to adjust the final contract price based on installed quantities and adjust contract time to reflect delays in construction related to material delays. Refer to the attached Summary of Quantities for a detailed description of the items included in Change Order No. 1.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Haleyville, that Mayor Ken Sunseri is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 (to be made a part of this Resolution) approving Deductive Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $4,662.85 for the 2021 Airport Improvement Project, Haleyville Airport – Posey Field, Wildlife Fencing (Phase III), AIP Project No. 3-01-0039-014-2021,
