Haleyville City issued the following announcement.

A single-vehicle crash at approximately 10:13 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, has claimed the life of a Double Springs woman.  Olivia J. Johnson, 47, was fatally injured when the 2007 Freightliner tractor-trailer she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 33 near the 15 mile marker, approximately 10 miles south of Moulton, in Lawrence County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
