Dale W. Strong, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 5th district since 2023, publicly thanked President Joe Biden and other officials for their decisions regarding national security and the future location of the U.S. Space Command Headquarters in a series of posts on September 2, 2025.

In his first post at 19:08 UTC, Strong shared a link without additional commentary: https://t.co/MkahuOO92a.

Later that day, at 19:43 UTC, he wrote: “Promises made, promises kept. Thank you, @POTUS, for doing what is right for national security.”

At 21:53 UTC on the same day, Strong expanded his message to include further acknowledgments: “I want to thank @POTUS and @SecDef for their commitment to doing what is best for the security and future of our nation, and I remain grateful for the unified support of the entire Alabama delegation along the way. The U.S. Space Command Headquarters will be at Redstone Arsenal”.

Strong has represented Alabama’s 5th District in Congress since replacing Mo Brooks in 2023. Before serving in Congress, he held positions in both the Alabama House of Representatives and the Madison County Commission. Born in Monrovia in 1970 and currently residing in Huntsville, Strong graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

The decision to locate the U.S. Space Command Headquarters at Redstone Arsenal follows months of discussion among federal officials about its strategic importance to national security.
