Dale W. Strong, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 5th district, has expressed his gratitude and support for various law enforcement and defense initiatives through a series of tweets. Strong, who succeeded Mo Brooks in 2023, has been vocal about issues concerning national security and immigration enforcement.

On January 27, 2025, Strong acknowledged the efforts of local law enforcement agencies by stating, “I am grateful for the work of @HSVPolice and @morgan_sheriff to get these predators off the streets. Under the Trump Administration, @ICEgov is free to do their job and make sure these criminal illegals never endanger our community again.”

Later that day, he commended President Trump’s focus on missile defense by tweeting, “Thank you President Trump for taking this step! It’s past time the missile defense of the U.S. homeland is made a priority in policy objectives AND budget items! I look forward to working with @POTUS and @PeteHegseth to ensure this priority becomes a reality.”

On January 28, 2025, Strong emphasized North Alabama’s readiness to contribute to national defense efforts with his statement: “North Alabama is more than ready to step up to the plate and make this happen. It’s time to make this priority a reality for our national defense.”
