Dale W. Strong, a current U.S. Congress member representing Alabama’s 5th district, shared insights and legislative initiatives through recent social media posts. Having served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Mo Brooks, Strong has been active in highlighting his legislative priorities and engagements.

On May 13, 2025, Strong announced his legislative efforts during #NationalPoliceWeek. He introduced the Supporting Every at-Risk Veteran In Critical Emergencies (SERVICE) Act, which aims to create a program allowing agencies to utilize DOJ COPS grants to establish support systems for veterans.

In another post on May 14, 2025, Strong mentioned his participation in a Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development hearing with Secretary Duffy. He invited followers to tune into the discussion by sharing a link: “Speaking with @SecDuffy at today’s Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development hearing.”

Later that day, Strong reflected on his conversation with Secretary Duffy regarding infrastructure support around Redstone Arsenal and investments by the U.S. Department of Transportation near national security installations. He also discussed congressional support for North Alabama’s small hub airports like Huntsville International Airport: “It was great to talk with @SecDuffy on ways to support our critical infrastructure around Redstone Arsenal and @USDOT’s investments by key national security installations.”

Born in Monrovia, Alabama in 1970 and currently residing in Huntsville, Dale Strong holds a BS from Athens State University. His career includes serving in the Alabama House of Representatives and the Madison County Commission before his congressional tenure.
