On July 13, 2025, Strong marked the anniversary of an incident involving former President Donald Trump by stating, “One year ago, President Trump stood up in the face of danger and showed true American resiliency. I thank God that our country was spared from tragedy that day.”

Dale Strong has served as a member of Congress for Alabama’s 5th District since 2023 after succeeding Mo Brooks. He previously held positions in the Alabama House of Representatives and Madison County Commission. Born in Monrovia in 1970 and currently residing in Huntsville at age 52, Strong is an alumnus of Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
