Dale W. Strong, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 5th district, has been actively sharing his views and initiatives on social media. He succeeded Mo Brooks in 2023 and has a background in the Alabama House of Representatives and the Madison County Commission.
On July 7, 2025, Strong expressed gratitude to President Biden for signing legislation into law that supports space exploration and the Marshall Space Flight Center. He tweeted, “Thank you, @POTUS, for signing this into law and for your continued commitment to space exploration and the Marshall Space Flight Center.”
Later that day, he shared his condolences regarding an unspecified tragedy with a brief message: “Praying for everyone impacted by this heartbreaking tragedy.”
On July 8, 2025, Strong reiterated his ongoing efforts to protect American farmland from foreign control. In his tweet, he stated: “I’ve been fighting to protect American farmland from foreign adversary control since I came to Congress. It’s common sense – China and other nations that wish to do us harm should not be able to purchase our land and jeopardize our food, fiber, and fuel markets.”
Strong was born in Monrovia, Alabama in 1970 and currently resides in Huntsville. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University.
