Dale W. Strong, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 5th district since 2023, posted a series of messages on his social media accounts on October 13 and 14, 2025, addressing recent national events and milestones.
On October 13, 2025, Strong commented on the return of hostages to the United States, attributing their release to the President. He wrote, “The hostages are home thanks to @POTUS — the President of Peace.”
Later that day, Strong marked a significant anniversary for the U.S. Navy. In a post dated October 13, 2025, he stated, “Today we celebrate the 250th birthday of the @USNavy. For two and a half centuries, America’s sailors have stood watch around the world — protecting our freedom, defending our nation, and upholding the highest traditions of service. #Navy250”
On October 14, 2025, Strong referenced an event involving former President Trump and conservative activist Charlie Kirk. He wrote, “Today, President Trump awarded the Medal of Freedom to Charlie Kirk in recognition of his lifelong dedication to free speech and America’s youth. On what would have been his 32nd birthday, we honor Charlie’s legacy as a fearless advocate for truth, faith, and freedom.”
Dale Strong succeeded Mo Brooks in Congress and has previously served in both the Alabama House of Representatives and the Madison County Commission. Born in Monrovia, Alabama in 1970, Strong is currently 52 years old and resides in Huntsville. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University.
