Dale W. Strong, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 5th district since 2023, shared his views on the “One Big Beautiful Bill” through a series of tweets on July 3, 2025. His comments reflect his stance on key issues related to the bill and its implications for American citizens.

In a tweet posted at 14:25 UTC, Strong stated that “Voting NO on the One Big Beautiful Bill is a vote for: Higher gas prices and energy costs for all Americans. Continued waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayers’ dollars. Breaking the promise made to American people.” He concluded by affirming his intention to vote in favor of the bill.

Later that day at 19:46 UTC, Strong expressed support for the legislation by emphasizing its alignment with former President Trump’s commitments. He tweeted that “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill delivers on President Trump’s promises to the American people.” He highlighted benefits such as tax cuts for families and businesses, border security enhancements, economic growth stimulation, and improved accountability in taxpayer-funded programs.

At nearly the same time (19:46 UTC), he further elaborated on regional benefits by stating that “From our space, defense, and manufacturing sectors to our working families, farmers, and small business owners — all of North Alabama will benefit from President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.”

Congressman Dale Strong has been serving in Congress since replacing Mo Brooks in 2023. Prior to this role, he was part of both the Alabama House of Representatives and Madison County Commission. Born in Monrovia in 1970 and currently residing in Huntsville, Strong holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University.
