CALHOUN JAZZ BAND CONCERT: “TALKIN’ ABOUT”

The concert is planned to be outside on the ACA Green in front of the Performing Arts building. It is a free event, however, donations are always appreciated!

A few words from Josh Couts (Calhoun’s Jazz Band Director):
This years group is unlike any I’ve directed in the past and I’m proud of the hard work they’ve put in and how great they sound on this diverse and difficult set of music.

As you’ll see the concert is entitled “Talkin’ About” and the design mimics a Grant Green album by the same name. This poster was made by Calhoun art student Faith Carpenter! Her brother Sam plays in the band and mentioned that she’d like to make a poster for us if possible. Showcasing great Calhoun student work all around!
