Add some sparkle to the season with Huntsville Parks & Recreation’s winter guide

The days are getting shorter, but Huntsville Parks & Recreation wants to help you make the most of every minute. The 2022 Winter Program Guide is filled with activities from art to athletics, fitness to fun. It’s a great way to stay connected and active during the winter months.

With more than 100 programs to choose from, most of them free, there’s something for every age, ability and interest. Learn the art of calligraphy, meet up for a mountain bike ride, connect over a cup of coffee or play a friendly game of cornhole. You can do all that, and so much more, through your Parks & Recreation Department.

“We’re excited to provide the community new options for recreation, wellness and leisure, while continuing to grow the programs people have told us they really enjoy,” said Community Services Recreation Superintendent Dorianne Johnson.

The guide also contains information about winter camp offerings Dec. 19-22, for Huntsville City Schools students. Registration is open now through Dec. 14.

Follow the department on Facebook and Instagram for the latest information.
